Okay so this is how it goes, I'm 15 going on 16 in May. My boyfriend is 19 years old and I really do care about him a lot.
One thing, he wants to get me pregnant.
If we were to wait till I was 16 would my mom be able to press charges?
And If I got pregnant before then[[like a month or two before]]and never said anything till I turned 16 would she be able to as well?
He is dead set on having a kid with me but I don't want him in anymore legal trouble. He just recently got out of jail and rehab only about 2 weeks ago and I don't want him going back anytime soon. PLEASE HELP ME!

Legal advice: Yes, he can still be charged with statutory rape when you are 16. Your mother would be right to press charges. The age of consent in NY is 17. Stay away from this "man". -
