Emancipating a Pregnant Adult Child in Missouri

I have a daughter in Missouri. She is 20 years old and is a college student- a junior- I am not the custodial parent but her mother and myself have always agreed that if she became pregnant we would stop her child support and college monies. She is pregnant- how do we emancipate her?

Is there court ordered child support?

If not, legally she was emancipated two years ago when she turned 18.

If she's now self-sufficient, or other contingencies described in the order have been met, petition the court which issued the order to terminate support.

The court order states that she must maintain good grades while in school, but actually nothing about pregnancy.

What is the definition of self sufficient?

What, exactly, does the judgment in the law suit say about when she is emancipated? I will be the first to tell you that a lot of dissolution judgments are very poorly written.

my divorce agreement state only to continue child support and college fees until the child's 22nd birthday- really nothing about emancipation as such- it has been my assumption that in MO a child becomes emancipated when she marries or becomes pregnant.

Pregnancy provides for medical emancipation, not legal emancipation.

What is the difference between medical and legal emancipation?

What is the definition of good grades- she received a 1.4 GPA last semester- certainly not good from my point of view.
