Truancy While on Juvenile Probation
A minor is on juvenile probation and has made good overall progress, but missed some assignments at school and has been reported to probation for truancy. The minor is seventeen-years-old, and will be eighteen in a few months. What is likely to happen?
Re: Truancy While on Juvenile Probation
If the problems at school have been addressed, and the juvenile is making good progress, it is most likely that probation will be continued. The juvenile should make sure that no more probation violations occur.
As individual experiences differ, it would be a good idea for the juvenile to consult a lawyer with the details before going to court.
