Can You Reopen a Domestic Violence Case After Your Ex- Leaves
A woman was dating a man who committed domestic violence. He convinced her to ask the judge to lower her bond, and the court granted her request. Once he was out, he threatened and intimidated her into not talking to the police or appearing in court, and the case was dismissed. Shortly after the dismissal, he left her. Now that she is free of him she wants to have the charges reinstated. What can she do?
