Ok know your RIGHTS to begin with its a privilege to have a drivers license which then you need insurance, plates, inspections etc.... But it's your RIGHT to travel freely therefore do not need any of the items that comes with the privileges
Validate what I'm telling you but there is a Hugh difference between RIGHTS and PRIVILEGES .
As far as your situation. It's really illegal for an officer to pull you using his lights unless there is an EMERGENCY. You do NOT have to roll down your window, you do NOT have to open your car door , you do NOT have to open your trunk if they ask. HE / SHE can NOT detain you unless you have committed a crime. What is a crime according to blacks law.
To be a crime is an act committed or omitted, in violation of a public law, either forbidding or commanding it; a breach or violation of some public right or duty due to a whole community, considered as a community. In its social aggregate capacity, as distinguished from a civil injury. Wilkins v. U. S
That being said, if you have nothing to hide you can simply say "I'd rather not open my car door and unless I've committed a crime may I leave? If he detains you, that means you've committed a crime. Keep in mind too, he can't arrest you without a warrant. However, if he says ....step out of the car and put your hands behind your back and you do do, then you've gone it on your own free will. Know your rights
OP, if you are still around, do not listen to this person. He knows not what he speaks of.

You screwed up right about when you started typing. Driving is a privilege. You do have a RIGHT to travel freely. Where you screwed up is thinking it is a right to do your traveling by operating a car. Remember, driving is a privilege.
Everything after that is pretty much bullshit.
i was wondering; who is Hugh and what does he have to do with anything?

This might appear to be semantics or splitting hairs, but it’s not. The whole issue of how to drive without a license boils down to this. In everyday common English, to travel by means of a car, and to drive, are identical. However, one of the biggest cons of the Law Society is the fact that they have their own language (legalese) which appears to be English but which has different definitions for some key terms. In this case, as defined by legalese, “to drive” is to go on the roads by a motorized conveyance doing business or being engaged in commerce, and it is a privilege. “To travel”, on the other hand, is a right, and no legislation can be passed to strip you of your fundamental, inherent rights.
To state you are “driving” is to unwittingly place yourself in admiralty or commercial jurisdiction.
As a sovereign being, you never need surrender your rights and exchange them for privileges. This is the way societies descend into tyranny. To exchange a right for a privilege is to ask permission for something (in the form of a governmental permit or license) that you are free to do anyway.
Is Driving a Right or a Privilege?
Driving is a privilege; traveling is a right. A privilege is granted by some authority, and equally it can be taken away by some authority. A right can never be abrogated. Our right to travel can never be stripped from us; it is as fundamental to our existence as our right to breathe.

Re: Police Officer Opening Car Door
Nice article. I live in Texas and know of 4 others including myself who Travel freely. I have 4 automobiles in which neither are tagged, registered with the county therefore do not pay taxes on. I do have insurance to cover damages. And it IS MY constitutional right to travel freely
Instead of joking around look up the laws in blacks law. I'm personal friends with our sheriff and chief. You have NO CLUE
Y'all joke and kid around and mislead. Driving means your dealing with Commerce Traveling is for human beings. However, I have noticed that everyone that brings up our RIGHTS gets banned .....l why is that?
For years professionals within the criminal justice system have acted on the belief that traveling by motor vehicle was a privilege that was given to a citizen only after approval by their state government in the form of a permit or license to drive. In other words, the individual must be granted the privilege before his use of the state highways was considered legal. Legislators, police officers, and court officials are becoming aware that there are court decisions that disprove the belief that driving is a privilege and therefore requires government approval in the form of a license. Presented here are some of these cases:
CASE #1: "The use of the highway for the purpose of travel and transportation is not a mere privilege, but a common fundamental right of which the public and individuals cannot rightfully be deprived." Chicago Motor Coach v. Chicago, 169 NE 221.
CASE #2: "The right of the citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon, either by carriage or by automobile, is not a mere privilege which a city may prohibit or permit at will, but a common law right which he has under the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Thompson v. Smith, 154 SE 579.
It could not be stated more directly or conclusively that citizens of the states have a common law right to travel, without approval or restriction (license), and that this right is protected under the U.S Constitution.
CASE #3: "The right to travel is a part of the liberty of which the citizen cannot be deprived without due process of law under the Fifth Amendment." Kent v. Dulles, 357 US 116, 125.
CASE #4: "The right to travel is a well-established common right that does not owe its existence to the federal government. It is recognized by the courts as a natural right." Schactman v. Dulles 96 App DC 287, 225 F2d 938, at 941.

Prove yourself right. Your bs claims are meaningless. Provide laws, statutes, code, or case law to prove your point.
of course you realize the statements regarding travel are from a period long before cars, right? That means travel would have no implication of referring to a vehicle being required to be a mode of travel.
blacks is a dictionary. It conveys no rights in anything.

Re: Police Officer Opening Car Door
JK,
I just did. I'm not here to argue or throw flames. I'm here to learn just like others. IMHO the issue are WE THE PEOPLE have the power not the courts. I'm not saying go out and rape ,steal, kill or be disrespectful to law enforcement or the courts. I'm saying WE HAVE RIGHTS that ARE above the legalese system once we know we do and how to use it. Lets just all get along.
@flyington
Yes they do have gold much like military uniforms because they fall under MERITIME AND MILITARY COURTS not CIVIL COMMON COURT LAW
So BAM!!!!! Sarcasm only shows ignorance
Anymore questions!

No, you didn't. You have to prove the courts or laws are speaking of travel in a vehicle. Whatcha got???
BAM!!!!
Case 4 involved the refusal to issue a passport which actually would restrict travel outside of the US. Since the decision was based in a time where you didn't need a passport to travel to Mexico or canada, it obviously did not involve travel in a motor vehicle.
Case 3; again, a passport issue. 1958, ya got a car that swims?
case 2 specifically allows for a permit or license to be required. The decision said the permission could not be arbitrarily revoked by a person not in a position of authority to make such a decision.
Case 1. Are you serious? Not a chance
So you present 4 cases you think support your argument; they don't. Not even close. You lose.
........jk drops the microphone and walks off the stage.
