Discipline by an Employer After an Age Discrimination Claim
A hospital was sued by three nurses for age discrimination after they were fired. Since that time, the hospital has significantly ramped up its disciplinary actions against other nurses. An older nurse with forty years of experience, who was just disciplined over a minor matter, believes that they are trying to build a case to terminate her with the ramped up discipline as a pretext or excuse.
