Must You Disclose a DUI When Applying for U.S. Citizenship
If you are applying for U.S. citizenship, but have a DUI from eight years ago, should you disclose it on your application?

Absolutely, yes. You are required to disclose that information on your N-400. Making a false statement, even in relation to a conviction that is more than five years old or would not otherwise prevent naturalization, your case could be denied and you might find yourself in removal proceedings.

When you have a criminal history, you should consult an immigration lawyer for case-specific advice.
