Is it Illegal to Share a Copy of Somebody Else's ID
If you have a copy of somebody's ID from a past business transaction, and you have a falling out with that person and they're making threats against you, is it legal for you to show their picture or give a copy of your ID to your building's security office? The person making the threats says that it is a crime.

Generally speaking, it's not illegal, but if you share more than the person's name and picture I suggest redacting (deleting or blacking out) personal information (DOB, driver's license number, and the like) so as to make it impossible for somebody to use that information for purposes of identity theft. If you obtained the ID by virtue of your selling goods or services to this person, be sure that any use of the ID is consistent with your contract with that person, as well as any state laws governing the use of IDs obtained from clients or customers.
