    Child Protective Services - False Failure to Protect Charge
    I have been wronfully accused by Child protective services here in missouri by them saying i knew my 2 girls were being molested by their former step dad.

    I have not been charged or convicted and they are still refuseing to return my children to me.

    Child Protective Services Action
    Child protection actions and criminal actions are separate proceedings. You don't need to be charged criminally to be the subject of a child protection action.

    Typically, if you cannot afford counsel, you will be eligible to apply for a court-appointed lawyer. I highly recommend you either hire a lawyer or obtain a lawyer through the court.

    I have a attorney,i did have a court appointed but i fired him and not this new one out of pocket.
