Can You Be Charged as an Accomplice if You Didn't Know a Crime Occurred
My friend was in jail and he asked me to help him out by selling some stuff he had at his place. None of it seemed unusual, just some video games, a couple of musical instruments, and the like. I put some ads on craigslist and sold the more valuable stuff on eBay.

Now somebody says that one of the items I sold was stolen. Can I be charged with being an accessory even if I didn't know my friend stole the items I sold?

It is possible for you to be charged as an accessory, as a participant in the crime, or with a different charge relating to possession, conversion or concealment of stolen property. If the police want to speak to you, I suggest consulting a criminal defense lawyer first. Meanwhile, as I'm sure you have figured out, stop selling your friend's (likely stolen) property.
