Will You Be Cited for Public Intoxication if Not Ticketed at the Scene
My question involves criminal law for the state of: CALIFORNIA
I was recently kicked out of a college football game for throwing up in the seats. I came to the game drunk. I did not have any alcohol on me, but the police came a few minutes later and took my name, date of birth, height, and address. They did not give me a citation or a ticket on the spot, just told my friend who was of age to get me home.
Will I receive a citation for underage drinking or public intoxication in the mail? If they were just going to kick me out why did they need so much of my information?

It is possible you'll get a cite. They may have just needed your information for a contact report or to help track your whereabouts if you turn up dead.

They likely needed your info for a Field Interview card or some similar record of the contact. You should not receive any form of citation or criminal charge if not cited or arrested at the scene.
