Do You List Your Cell Phone Bills in Your Bankruptcy Matrix
My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Oregon
Quick question, I am finishing up the forms to complete the filing of a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. When I initially filed, I had notified my cell phone carrier that I filed bankruptcy. My service was suspended at that point in time. The lady I spoke with at ATT was very courteous and went through a process that gave me a credit for the entire past due balance and reinstated my service. Now my question is, do I include this amount (the credit that is) in my list of Unsecured claims? Since it's a credit, I'm not sure if I include it or not. I'm worried that if I don't include it, they can renege on the credit and demand full payment after the bankruptcy is discharged. Thanks.

You've lost me on the timing of this. You should have listed the past due amount when you filed bankruptcy.

Sorry, I am currently in the process of finishing up the paperwork. When I initially filed, I filed the paperwork that had to be done immediately with a 14 day period to finish the rest. Hope that makes sense, no coffee yet! :)

List the debt in your bankruptcy paperwork. Its better safe than sorry.
