If you accidentally discharge a firearm in your home and a neighbor calls the police, do they have the right to search your home?

Depending upon how quickly the police arrive, the discharge may give them a basis to enter the premises for a safety check, to ensure that nobody is injured and in need of medical attention. The longer they wait, or the less credible the report, the lesser their basis for entry.
