Charged With an Offense from When I Was a Minor

I live in Pennsylvania and I recently found out that the state is pressing charges against me on something that happened 8 years ago when I was 17. I was never served I had no knowledge that there was even a case and they are using the wrong name. My question is what should I do about this.

Hire an attorney.

Since you have provided no details (and you probably shouldn't), there's clearly not much we can tell you besides "Speak to an attorney."

Unless we're talking about a very serious offense (e.g., a serious sex offense, homicide, robbery, kidnapping), the charge should have been filed in juvenile court and it may be possible to resolve the charge without a great deal of cause for concern. If it is a more serious charge, and was filed in adult court, all the more reason to get a lawyer ASAP.
