Can You Get Child Support if You Never Married the Father
My question involves a marriage in the state of: TX
My name is Tara, I have been living with my boyfriend (Rock) for 2 years and we have one year old boy together. Now, I find out that we have many different things in life so that I have decided my son and I will leave him alone. Is it possible to get child support from Rock even though I am not married with him? Thank you.

Yes. You’ll need to go to court to establish his paternity (if that has not already been done) and then seek the court order of support. He will have he right as well to try to get custody or at least visitation with the child. I suggest you consult a family law attorney for help with that.
