What is the Penalty for Third Degree Burglary
My question involves criminal law for the state of: AL.
I have been charged with 3rd degree burglary. Went to 1st appearance and left under the direct quote of "case dismissed."
That was 2yrs ago and apparently there is no record ( or case # ) in the court records showing any proof of my appearance, No one was served any court documents to re-appear. The 1st notice was the execution of outstanding warrant For "Failure to Appear" (I do have witnesses of my appearance, and it is possible that the original judgement may stand since it would be the same judge, just lost case files)

The question Is, With the nature of this case, Will I have reasonable chance at resolving this with an injunction or plea bargain of some sort without having to serve any time?

Work through your state's sentencing guidelines to try to determine a likely range of sentences.

Thank you, I appreciate any advice.
My next question is there any way to lookup my own public arrest records. This is crucial to my current status as I am aware that the case # disappeared. I have no money so.... Again I need assistance with different ways of acquiring my official records In order to know what I am dealing with for case prep.
I am glad to say I do have a lawyer, provided by a family member. Thank God. This is my last chance. So I desperately ask for help. I have been a new person since I thought this was gone, the thought of going to jail is excruciatingly repeated emotionally for the sake of my life.
