Will a Speeding Ticket Affect Naturalization
I already passed the citizenship test and I am waiting for the oath ceremony date, this morning I got a speeding ticket, the fine is $100.00 which I will pay as soon as I get paid this week. Will this affect my eligibility and oath ceremony?

An ordinary, civil-infraction-level traffic offense will have no relevance to your naturalization proceeding. You did not identify the state or statute, but the $100 fine suggests we're speaking of a ticket at that level.

Even if it was a criminal conviction (and some states make all tickets criminal), it probably isn't going to be a concern. Single traffic tickets are usually yawners.
