Can You Expunge an Adult Criminal Record After Expunging a Juvenile Record
My question involves criminal records for the state of: North Carolina
I had some charges expunged that occurred at age 16, so they were before my 18th birthday.
Unfortunately, I got into trouble again since my expungement.
Am I able to get another expungement since the first was on charges that occurred before age 18?
Can you please share what conditions would allow another expungement?

I don't think violent crimes are expungeable.

Read this. Are we talking about a charge that was dismissed?

Problem is that it's slightly outdated: per GS §15A-145.5, it is possible to expunge a single nonviolent felony or misdemeanor conviction. But it's not possible if the defendant has ever benefited from an expungement under any part of §15A-145:
Quote:
Quoting GS §15A-145.5(c)
If the court, after hearing, finds that the petitioner has not previously been granted an expunction under this section, G.S. 15A-145, 15A-145.1, 15A-145.2, 15A-145.3, or 15A-145.4[...] it may order that such person be restored, in the contemplation of the law, to the status the person occupied before such arrest or indictment or information.
