How to Figure Out Where Chapter 13 Payments Went
My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Wisconsin:
I paid over $18,000.00 into a chapter 13 bankruptcy and during that time my attorney left the office I was assigned to and opened his own office ( I was unable to contact him during the transition } and the bankruptcy trustee also changed. I took a loan from my 401-k to pay my back IRS payments and when I made my last payment and sent in my tax returns, my case was dismissed. My vehicle was repossessed and they are asking for $10 k . I want to know if the attorney or trustee can be sued. The one thing I wanted to save was taken and all the other creditors are coming after me for their money. What happen to my $18 k ?
The attorney want me to file a chapter 7 but I will have to pay him $750.00. What's wrong with this picture? I just gave away $18 k and they want more!!!!!!!!!!!

You want to sue the trustee for what?
You can look at your repayment plan to see where your money went.
If you no longer trust your bankruptcy lawyer, speak to a different bankruptcy lawyer.

How can something like this happen, Mr. Knowitall? Is it possible the car wasn't included in the chapter 13, or maybe it was too delinquent to save? How can one avoid this from happening to them?

The trustee doesn't represent you. The trustee represents the creditors.
