I work at convenient store and sold beer to a minor. It was Friday evening and I was working all by myself so I was well occupied when this woman walked into the star grabbed a few beers and set it on the counter. I asked for her ID and she said she does not have it on her. I asked her how old is she and what's her DOB, she said she was supposedly 22. I ended up selling it to her so I can hurry and can back to stocking but right when she was gonna walk this TABC officer walks in tells me he's here to check and then he asks if I checked her ID and I told sort of did. He went after her outside and pulled her over. After few minutes I went outside and see whats going on and found out she was 19. Then TABC agent tells me to go back inside and wait for him. He was with her for about 40 mins on and off on his phone and ended up giving her ticket for MIP I think. I thought I was gonna go to jail but when he back inside he asked me for my ID and asked him what was gonna happen he said he was gonna find out and then he got on the phone again. then later he gave me an administrative notice. And asked him what is this he said he was going to forward this to his captain lieutenant or whatever and then take it from there. He said first their going to take care of the matter with the store and then me saying its up to captain or lieutenant they might charge file criminal charges against me.
What is all this I don't understand one bit of this thing and I've been trying look up the information regarding this situation online and by asking few people but haven't found anything similar to my situation.
What do you think it is or whats going to happen? Please help I've never been in trouble before and I don't want any kind of criminal record on myself or end up in jail. I know I made a terrible mistake just by taking the word instead of saying no id no alcohol and now i'm regretting it.
