Marijuana possession in Maryland

the weed found in the car was not mine it was my friends who i was bringing home, i asked him for gas money and he said he had no money instead he brought the weed, it was his weed and it was found under his seat... do you think i could have any chance of being deemed not guilty based on these facts?

If the facts are that he was giving you the weed because he didn't have the gas money you asked for, and you accepted that bargain, it doesn't sound like a particularly good defense.

what if i did not accept this formally i just decided to take him anyways... my friend also was carrying a larger amount of weed wich was in the bed of my truck, which i was unaware of, the weed was all his and if i had never offered to take him home this would have never happened... is there anything there?

So you didn't think it was important to tell us up front, when purporting that all the marijuana found was a tiny joint, that at the time of the stop you were transporting your friend the drug dealer?

Can you friend the drug dealer take the blame? Well, did you confess?

for me as a student would you recommend that I hire a lawyer or use the state defendant???
