Actually I'm pretty impressed; that took some effort! I appreciate effort.

    Even when it's misplaced ;)

Yeah, it was artful now that I've looked at it again!

According to Websters New Explorer Dictionary and Thesaurus (1999 print)

Insult: to treat with insolence or contempt ...2: A gross indignity.
    Lets go further
insolence: (taken via def. of insolent) contemptuous, RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL (last 2 ring a bell?)
    and further
Indignity: an offense against personal dignity or respect also humiliating treatment.

I wont define contempt for you, if you don't know it you are clearly in the wrong profession

I said some pretty nasty things about my Mother here publicly to make a stupid point. None of which were true and I regret making them. RIP Mom and you as well Dad. You are truly missed.

    Look.

Either he stole the part or he didn't.

    If he did, that's that.

If he didn't, then putting it in his pocket and forgetting to take it back out again in the check out line was stupid.

So, which was it? There is no third option of "didn't steal, didn't do anything stupid either".

You don't have to answer that. Just think it over.
