Why are you so hung up on convincing everyone that he's been sober since the robbery?
Whether he's been stone sober or stoned since then matters NOTHING for his arrest for the robbery.

You asked if the case could be dismissed and that question was answered.

Did you have another question or are you just going to go on and on about how he's been straight since xx?

Because ppl keep telling me I don't know for a fact he's been sober since Sept when I do know. Another person said how was he sober and stole checks and I never said he was sober when he stole checks. I'm trying to figure out why ppl can't ****ing read. That's it. Maybe ppl should stop zeroing on it.

Why the hell do you care why I keep posting?

No, you really don't know. If you could get past your own sense of self-righteous angst, you'd understand why we're saying that's the case.

Whether he was using drugs every waking moment of the day, or whether he stole his dad's checks to pay for rehab and not drugs, is not going to take us any closer to the question of whether or not he committed the robbery. You don't like to hear it, but the case against him is enough to get the case to trial, and quite possibly enough for a conviction.

The horse is dead. In fact, he's been slaughtered and taken off to Taco Bell for their next batch of "beef," stop beating it.

But FYI, halfway houses and prisons are some of the easiest places to get drugs... I used to work in one.

Well you commented on it...maybe people should stop and it won't keep going. Or it can get deleted.

If you worked in one and people snuck in drugs you guys were pretty shitty at your job. I'll go with the fact he has been clean since Sept as he took random UAs pretty often and he told me they didn't play around when he came in for them.

Is it so unreasonable that someone could actually get sober? It does happen. People do get and stay sober. I know I have family who have been sober 20+ years.

Why are you posting this again? I get it. I got the answers. People need to just ****ing stop posting.

He didn't pay for rehab. Actually they didn't even charge him for rehab. I was there the day he graduated and they gave him paperwork to sign and it said $0.00 owed.

I don't know how much more to break this down. I left him in May, end of May. Filed divorce. He lived with his dad til Sept. Using the whole time. He had a job for a short time. Then sometime end of Aug to beginning of Sept he took off and took his dad's checks with him. His dad didn't find out until after he went to rehab that he had wrote $3000 worth of checks. So he used the checks for drugs. That has been stated the entire time. His dad reported it then said he didn't press further and told the bank it was resolved and he's never been charged for those checks. If anything, I thought he would be charged with forgery for the checks.

The day and night of the robbery he was with his friend. The only time he went to the gas station was to buy beer. He had someone drop him off meth. He stayed there all night and got ****ed up. He had left all his clothes in some guy's car who he didn't even see for two days and that guy actually matches the description. The guy also stole a four wheeler right around that day. I'll be taking him to his PH and I'll see what the state presents.

The point that people keep harping on is his sobriety. Yes I know for a fact he has been sober since Sept and actually turning his life around. I don't care what people think they know. Everyone is different when it comes to addiction and recovery. I'm sure at some point he may relapse with all this going on. It would not surprise me at all if he does relapse. He's done it before. But my point is that this is the first time since I've known him that I have EVER seen him take sobriety seriously, admit to his mistakes and try to go forward and not back.

All I know is this thread can probably be deleted. And no one else needs to comment.

I am posting it again because you keep posting inane nonsense that suggests your incapacity to understand and process basic facts.
