Child support and visitation in Florida
hello all. im fixing to be 19 and i live in fl. my daughter is due anyday now. i was wonderin if there is anyway to make it so my ex only has supervised visitation of my daughter and what to do to get child support. i personally dont want him to have any visitation at all. i left him because he stole money, was drinkin and smoking pot. i do not want my child around that kind of person. and im scared to death that if he gets something other then supervised visitation that he will disapear with my daughter. he has threanted this already and also threatened my life. im scared to death that he will do something to me or kidnap my daughter. he hasnt been around since i left him and hasnt helped one bit. but now wants to cause problems. what am i to do? please help.

Do you have proof of any of these accusations? If he petitions the court for visitation, you can ask the judge to only let him have supervised visitation but the judge will need proof that he is in fact a danger to the child.
Also, the court doesn't usually give overnight visitation for infants so that might work in your favor, for now but as the child gets older the judge will award more time to the father of the child.
Once the child is born, petition the court to establish paternity if he doesn't sign the acknowledgment of paternity, and to set up child support.

Gather all of the proof you have and have it ready for when (if) he files for visitation. As sson as the baby is born you can file to establish paternity and CS, quite often that is when the father will also file for visitation. Take your proof to court and request supervision. Be prepared tho to show that he is a definate danger to the child because that's the only way a court will order supervision.
