How Can a Person on Probation Get a Restricted Driver's License
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia
My brother resides in the state of GA. He lost his license in FL.
He now is on probation for driving w/o a license , and drug related charges in the state of GA.
How can he do all that is required of him if he can not drive?
Can he not obtain a work license? or a restricted license?
Any advice????
Re: How Can a Person on Probation Get a Restricted Driver's License
He will have to do whatever is required by the states of Floria or Georgia to partially or fully restore his driving privileges.
As we have no relevant facts pertaining to the suspension of his license, other than his choice to commit the additional offense in one state or the other of driving on a suspended license, we do not have the information necessary to say more than that.

How is this related to Victim's Rights?
He can walk, ride a bike, carpool, catch a cab, take a bus if there is public transit where he lives.
Why did he lose his license in FL?

Well first, I didn't want o select victims rights. Sorry.
I believe he lost his license in Florida due to back child support.
Just seems like a revolving door, you know, I know he "chose" to commit the offense , but then the system makes it totally unrealistic to correct your mistake.
So are the people who are commenting actual individuals in the legal profession?

He's going to have to get that fixed. He's not going to get a hardship license in GA if he was never licensed here. That's the law.

No, they don't in most cases. They make it difficult to discourage future law breaking.
