Will You Get in Trouble for Running Away at Age 17
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: colorado / Georgia
Im 16 i will be seventeen in a couple months and i will be graduating in may 2016 my question is will i get in prouble for leaving home at 17 i have had issues with my mother and i was passed back and forth between her and my aunt and niether place has been a very good home. Im not currently working i quit my job to focus on graduation right now but i cant do it anymore i just wan tto be on my own already

You have to start by deciding what state you live in, as laws vary by state.

As a practical matter, I doubt if anybody will care much if you strike out on your own after graduation.
Just understand this: Whatever you don't like about living at home with your mother or aunt, you're going to like a lot less what it takes to live as an adult in the real world.
You will never really be "on your own."
You'll have to answer to your boss, your landlord, the government, your wife (when you get one), and then your children (when you have them). Even if you eschew the last two, you still have the first three.

And the answer to your question is, we don't know if you WILL get into trouble for running away at 17. But you CAN get in trouble for running away at age 17.
The age at which you can leave and there be NO chance that you will be dragged back home is 18. Not 17, 18.
