Can You Be Emancipated if Not Already Living Separately from Your Parents
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: California
    The court's website says
    Quote:

You are at least 14 years old.
You do not want to live with your parents. Your parents do not mind if you move out.
You can handle your own money.
You have a legal way to make money.
Emancipation would be good for you.
and doesn't mention already moving out, but the petition for emancipation does. If I do need to be already moved out, how would I do that? I can't rent a property without already being emancipated.

California is unique in allowing minors as young as fourteen to petition for emancipation, and that (as with certain financial protection laws) emerges in no small part from the fact that its film industry has created a long history in which certain parents have unscrupulously exploited children who are working in the film industry. Nonetheless, it will be a rare fourteen-year-old whom a court will deem to be sufficiently mature to live independently, and manage his or her own resources, as opposed to living with a responsible adult (even if not a parent) who can provide the structure, guidance and supervision that most fourteen-year-old kids need.

Also, you may find that you can't rent a property even if you are emancipated. That is, a landlord can look at you and say, "I'm not renting to a fourteen-year-old kid", even if you have your emancipation order in hand. If the only hold-up is that you can't get a lease, you can talk to your parents about their renting a place for you and your paying the rent -- no emancipation required.
