    Participating in a Shoplifting Conspiracy
Huge question: if you're 18 and its your first offense with shop lifting and took aprox. 1,700 worth of items among with 3 other friends.. And is charged with a misdemeanor of shop lifting and a 3rd degree conspiracy- what can happen?

When you choose to commit crimes, you can be criminally prosecuted, fined, and potentially incarcerated. The rest will depend on the facts of your case and the laws of your undisclosed state.

Huge answer: Get yourself a criminal defense attorney and don't talk to cops or anybody except your attorney. You're in some serious trouble. $1700 is a felony in many states and will screw up the rest of your life.

Don't talk to your friends either. They will be making deals to get plea bargains and blame it all on you.
