Can You Get a B2 Visa After a VWP Overstay
Hi all,
I was a bit young and naïve back in 2011/2012, when I stayed 6.5 months longer than permitted under the visa waiver. From what I gathered so far, an overstay of under 12 months triggers a 3-year ban and forever revokes entry rights via the VWP. I have to apply for a B2 now, right?
I want to enter the US for a 10 day vacation in early December and am about to submit my B2 application. How likely is it that I'll be granted the visa? I am fully employed in my home country, with no intentions of staying in the US. Any help for preparing the B2 application is highly appreciated!
Thank you!

If you want assistance preparing the application, engage a US immigration law attorney.
No one can accurately predict whether you will be granted or denied a tourist visa.

Unless you have a very high paying job and significant assets, you are unlikely to be granted a visa.
