Can You Regain Your Parental Rights After Consenting to Stepparent Adoption
I live in the state of Alabama. My dad owed a lot of child support to my mom and she told me that he would go to jail unless I told him to sign over his rights. I didn't want to and neither did my father, but my mom forced me to tell him to sign them over. My stepdad has since then adopted me. Can my dad get his rights back?
