Charged for Classes That I Did Not Attend
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of Pennsylvania:
In the spring semester of 2014 I had enrolled in a class and never showed up at all. I did receive financial aid but had never collected it or used it. The school policies state that the institution must return any unearned aid to the appropriate account or lender but I am being told that I still must pay that balance to financial aid before I can enroll. Is that correct?
Re: Charged for Classes That I Did Not Attend
Refer to your contract. It is very likely you agreed to pay for the spot reserved and your failure to cancel led to the contractual charges.
