    Child Support Arrears After Emancipation
My question involves child support in the State of: TN

I HAVE AN ARREARS TO STATE OF FLORIDA AND RESIDE IN TN. MY CHILD HAS TURNED 18 AND ARREARS PLAN IS IN PLACE. I HAVE AN ORDER THAT SEPARATES CHILD SUPPORT AMOUNT AND ARREARS AMOUNTS ON A MONTHLY BASIS. NOW THAT CHILD SUPPORT HAS ENDED THE ARREARS PAYMENT IS LEFT TO CONTINUE UNTIL PAID OFF. (PROBLEM) TN CSE IS STATING EVENTHOUGH ARREARS PAYMENT IS LESSER THAT CS PAYMENTS, I MUST CONTINUE TO PAY SAME AMOUNT AS WHEN WAS IN CS PLAN. ORDER CLEARLY STATES AN AMOUNT TO BE PAID AND THE ARREARS TOTAL (GIVEN ON ORDER). IS THIS TRUE THAT I MUST CONTINUE SAME CS AMOUNT (PLUS ARREARS) OR AM I OBLIGATED TO ONLY THE ARREARS AMOUNT EVENTHOUGH LESS.

    Disagreeable

Usually, you must make the full payment, unless you go back to court and the judge clarifies their interpretation. Otherwise you risk the penalties CS enforcement asses for those going into arrears.

You do realize that paying the same amount means you'll be free and clear much faster, right?
