Getting a New Probation Transfer After a Violation
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Tennessee

A close friend of mine was sentenced to supervised probation for a misdemeanor. Since then she was able to get her probation transferred when she relocated and only had to report to her PO over the phone. But she has relocated again to my state and stopped reporting to her PO. She wants to have her probation transferred to my state but there maybe a warrant already issued. What is the likelihood of her getting a new transfer if she violated her probation?

Excellent likelihood of getting a new transfer.

To jail, for violating her probation.

Probably so, but what would be the likelihood of her getting a new transfer once the violation has been addressed?

She's already shown that she has no respect for the rules of her probation. So, I'd say slim to none, and Slim's walking out the door.

Tell her to return to her probation officer and address the issue with the officer who was assigned to her its misdeameaner and she may be able to get a small jail sentence with the probation terminated

Thank you I will tell her that. To give you a few more details that I have learned. She said she was going back to the original state to turn herself in but keeps delaying it. And a warrant was issued back in June.
