We have issues but OP is the one who is MISERABLE. Her fiancée is in jail. Sad, isn't it? If he would NOT have gotten behind on his child support, he wouldn't have this issue.

I am going to disagree slightly. There are lots of reasons why a parent might fall behind and a judge wouldn't put that parent in jail.

However, its takes some pretty strong reasons for a judge to put someone in jail for being behind on his child support, and even stronger reasons for a judge to keep him there for 13 months when he did at least come up with a partial amount of the purge.

So, I do not believe that he was put in jail simply because he was behind in child support. He was put in jail because the judge was fed up with him being behind in child support. The day he got put in jail was not his first rodeo on the issue.
