If diversion is an option (discuss this with your Attorney) it can done at arrainment!

The point is I don't have money for an Attorney. How am I supposed to talk with an Attorney/PD at the arraignment? Aren't I supposed to ask for a PD during the arraignment? Will they suddenly come to my side to aid me while I'm sitting in front of the judge at my arraignment if I ask? Is there a way to apply for a PD before my arraignment?

Contact the court about the procedure for applying for a court-appointed lawyer.

You can also (not recommended) contact DA himself to work out diversion and/or plea deal again this is NOT recommended!
