Now, if there is an open position that is within your restrictions and which you are qualified to do, moving you into that job would be considered reasonable.

I agree with cbg that employer cannot be required to let you work if unsafe to do so...or hire others to provide for your safety and that of others around you.......but if there are some possible minor shifts in duties ......that keep, everyone safe...might make sense to address same....and Id,seek, some help from an epilepsy rights advocacy group PRONTO as well as a lawyer skilled at ADA issues..Mynview is it's often easier to modify something before a supposedly final decision gets made against your point of view. you may well not have good odds but some odds beat those of doing nothing.

Having had a whopping 3 whole seizures and only recently being diagnosed you are far from knowing your limitations. You just haven't dealt with it long enough to be able to safely deal with it at work.

And especially since it just surfaced, how do you know how it is going to present over the next year or so? Damn, I can't wear a pair of new shoes 3 times and be able to tell you how they will feel in 6 months.

I apologize for not giving you all of my background when it comes to my seizures. But since you obviously want to be a ****ing dickhead I'll let you in a little more of my problem. I have been having simple partial seizures for years and they are just now tuning into complex partial seizures causing me to fall out. This has happened twice now in the past 6 months. When I said I could feel them coming on I meant that. So I think I know of my limitations better than you know your own two feet and how your shoes will fit. I apologize for bringing this here. If I had thought I would be dealing with a ****stick like you I would have looked into a fifferent forum to address my questions.

Thank you to all of you and your responses except for the guy who is a ****ing troll..

I see, you provide false information and ask questions based on a false premise and I'm the troll?

And and you said you had 3 seizures in 6 months ( my error on that as I was thinking 3 months)

so now you admit your symptoms are getting worse with and increase in severity. You just made every question you asked meaningless. The fact the severity has increased gives the employer much greater incentive to simply terminate you and get rid of the liability.
