Weekend Visitation for a Relative of a Foster Child
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas
My foster child grandmother was recently given weekend visitation on the first, third, and fifth weekend of the month. I understand when the weekend starts on Friday, but her visitation does not start until Saturday. Yesterday was the 1st of the month, so I would see this as the first weekend, but the grandmother is saying she still get her again next weekend. Is that correct, or is my way of thinking correct?
Re: Weekend Visitation for a Relative of a Foster Child
If the order states that the weekend starts on Friday, then last weekend was the fifth weekend of July and next weekend is the first weekend of August.

Why don't you contact your caseworker and ask her what the order means? As a foster parent, you are not the one making the decisions but rather the agency is under the court order.
