How to Qualify for Emancipation at Age 16
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Texas

I am 16 and I have finished high school pretty early, I don't plan on going to college until I'm at least 18. I would like to get emancipated and move out on my own. I am currently looking for a job and have gotten a few offers. My house is too crowded for me to live in and my parents barley have enough money to support all of us. I think it would help financially to for me to get emancipated. I am perfectly capable of living on my own and taking care of bills and necessities. I think my parents would be open to the idea of me leaving early. Could I get emancipated?

You haven't read any of the emancipation threads, have you?

Read them, and you'll have your answer.

And in TX, you must already be all of these three things to do as you wish:

    (1) be a resident of Texas
    (2) be 17 years of age, or at least 16 years of age and living separate and apart from the minor's parents, managing conservator, or guardian; and
    (3) self-supporting and managing the minor's own financial affairs.

You appear to possess only one of the three.

If money is an issue, and your family is receiving any sort of public assistance, you are a member of the household for these purposes. They do NOT plan to let you go, when you cannot legally be on your own, and it would not be a good idea to get out, because they need you as a member of the family to receive assistance like food stamps.

If money is tight, and they're NOT receiving assistance, they should be. Why would you not be going on to college at this time? You stand to qualify for all sorts of grants and federal aid as a family member of a good sized family. You can probably qualify to attend a community college in your area free of charge. You can also work part time while attending school. You aren't thinking you could like, move in with your boyfriend or girlfriend or his/her family or a friend's family, are you? That's not being independent. That's a child mooching off another family.

Who pays for your transportation? Who pays for your car insurance? How would you pay rent, how would you pay household expenses, utilities, insurances, etc? Read the posts, and realize that you need to thoroughly complete your education and have a pretty good paying job before you decide you're on your own. And high school doesn't complete your education if you get out when you're sixteen. You're not going to be able to find much of a job, you're still a minor. Unless you're Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift, your chances of making enough income as a sixteen year old to support yourself completely are pretty slim.
