Can You Get Into Trouble for Helping Your Minor Girlfriend Run Away
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Louisiana, Arkansas
I am 17, my girlfriend is 16. I will be turning 18 before her. We plan on running away together. If we run away before I turn 18, but then I turn 18, can I get into legal trouble? We have been dating for a little over a year and a half (if that helps at all).

We want to leave Louisiana, and go to Arkansas.
Re: Can I Get into Trouble
Yes, of course you can.
Don't even think about taking her across state lines.
I suppose it all depends on how you answer this question: exactly how stupid are you? Mildly? Not stupid, just foolish? Or more along the lines of "Oh dear God you fell off of the Idiot Cliff and hit every branch of the Stupid Tree before finally coming to rest in the Swamp Of Idiocy"?
Re: Can I Get into Trouble
Child, if you can even ask that question, you are not capable of comprehending the degree of trouble you can be in. We are talking FEDERAL prison here.
