Actually nope. They are FEMALE names from my understanding. Every Jocelyn/Josslyn I have known has been female.
Your understanding is .... wrong. Do a bit of research that goes beyond the US.

Key starting point is what the order says ..and the law says as to parent seeking to move away.
The rules may give the custodial parent a bit of an edge..especially if move benefits child...but so far nothing saYs mom has followed the rules or that for mom to move to be with new frimd absent marriage benefits the child .
OP ..far wiser to use CA counsel .......
THE NON-RELOCATING PARENT has the burden of proving to the court that the move should not go ahead. It is NOT the relocating parent's burden.
And since the move appears to be over and done with, and Dad/SecondMom/Whoever clearly didn't object, s/he will find it difficult to do so now.
Re: Custodial Parent Wants to Reduce and Limit Visitation
I missed the part where CP sought permission to relocate...Its probable in there someplace
You need to object ..pronto...and use counsel....and in the meantime the existing order counts ...

Mom didn't need permission. Did you miss that part, too?
Re: Custodial Parent Wants to Reduce and Limit Visitation
Still unsure how to reply to certain responses but:
1: middle name, in the case they reseat h my name and find that I'm seeking advance
2. The long distance plans and links provided were great help and I will definitely use them
3. I filed my response with the court and will have to serve her in response to her request to change of venue
4. I discussed keeping the regular summer and every other winter with my son but the mother of my son refused to agree and only wants me to choose from her two options and even had her husband or bf to try to convince me. They also accused me basically not wanting what is best for my son since they want him to join programs (such as sports) that would mean I would not be able to get to see him at all. Keep in mind he is only 3.
4. Should I seek a professional negotiator or get a lawyer?
Re: Custodial Parent Wants to Reduce and Limit Visitation
I'd get an attorney, if I were you. I think she might be a bit more court-savvy than you, and she's banking on you messing up your pleadings.
Your son is only 3. Mom and her husband - who shouldn't even be addressing you when it comes to YOUR child - are very clearly trying to limit your interaction, and the intent seems to be removing you from the child's life once and for all.
Dad, you don't have to let this happen. Get to an attorney, NOW.
Re: Custodial Parent Wants to Reduce and Limit Visitation

It's almost my birthday. Do you think with your next post you can actually provide some relevant information? Just for me, as a birthday present?
Re: Custodial Parent Wants to Reduce and Limit Visitation
Update: It is clear she will be attempting to take me to court to get all parental rights or try to reduce visitation as much as possible. However, she was denied change in venue so far. One small win. Lets hope the judge allows me to see him summers and winters without shortening and limiting that time.

Were you able to see an attorney yet?
Did you get anything helpful over at SPARC?
