Naturalization After a Citation for Providing Tobaco to a Minor
Hi,
My brother just passed his N-400 citizenship intereview. He is a cashier in a gas station. few days after interview while he was in his job, the cop sent him a girl to buy a swisher. he forgot to check her ID. So, he was cited for providing tobaco to minor. he was given a traffice ticket with Infraction under section 308 (a). It is his first time and has a clean record, even no other traffice tickets. location is California. my question is: 1. Does this affect his oath ceremony? 2. Does this stay in his record and how long?
Thank you very much for your help in advance.

If in fact it was charged and resolved as a civil infraction, not a misdemeanor, there would be no criminal record.

What about the first question: Does this affect his citizenship oathing ceremony?
