Ok so I'm sucrrently 16 and live in Illinois. The age of consent in illinois is 17, but my boyfriend lives in montana and the age of consent there is 16. He sent my pictures of his privates several months ago and my mom found the pictures on my old phone and is threatening to file charges on him, and I was wondering what possible charges there would be, if any.

well, to start with you can be charged with possession of child pornography. If you sent them to anybody else you can be charged with distributing child pornography.
He can be charged with disseminating child porn.
and the age of consent has absolutely nothing to do with this. Child porn is child porn. -
