Violation of Probation on Drug Charge
I was charged in Nov of 2005 for obatining controlled substance by fraud, which means I called in Vicodin Prescriptions without doctors auth, I was a medical assistant. I received two years proabation. I currently did the same thing at my previous job and got caught in Nov 2006, this time it was for my husband and not me. I have passed all my drug test and attended all my substance abuse counseling. I go to court tomorrow for the violation. Can anyone give me an idea of what may happen to me?? My proabtion officer has not called my back and I have left him several messages in the past two weeks. I don't what to think. Will I get jail time?
    I currently reside in Illinois

I agree with SJ. You may have to serve out the terms of your original sentence. It is also possible that they will just extend your time on probation.

By breaking the law again, it appears that probation isn't working for you.

Get into drug treatment - or, if you're in it, consider getting into something more intensive. Look into the possibility of a Suboxone (buprenorphine) program. SAMHSA provides a list of Illinois programs.
