Getting a Fiancée Visa While on SSI
Hello, am on SSI for disability reason and my primary caretaker whom was my mother passed away few months back. I wish
to marry my fiance from overseas to come to USA to care for me, but am not sure how that will affect me being married.
I do have co-sponsors who would support me for that neccesity, but the real question is will i lose my benefits or depending
on accountable household income?
Re: Getting a Fiancée Visa While on SSI
You're not sure how what will affect you getting married? People on SSI can get married.
Obviously you cannot sponsor your fiancée yourself, so you would need a cosponsor (or cosponsors).
If you're asking if your household income can affect your SSI benefits, of course it can -- but that's not an immigration question.

You realize that you must have actually met your fiance.
