Admissibility of a New Boyfriend's Criminal Record in Custody Proceedings
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Indiana
    https://mycourts.in.gov/PORP/Search/Results
This is what my sons dad found when he looked up my bf after my bf admitted to having a felony for breaking a restraining order. What I wan to know is how can he prove that any of these were him? They are all the same DOB as my bf and are all from the same county as he was in when arrested. But he said he only went to jail for 6 months on a D felony. Why do they have so many listings for just one crime? My son's dad wants to print these out and show the judge so he can prove that my bf is a felon. You can click on these and it tells you exactly what he was charged with. My son's dad has no lawyer luckily. But can he really use this in court when there's no proof that it's my bf? And please dint just tell me to go away. I honestly want to know if he could really use these in court

You've already given him all the information he needs in court with your posts here- including where you admit your boyfriend committed violence in front of your son.

Keep it up, you are making things very easy for him :D

Asked and answered. He's a lying, dangerous felon. You seriously believe Dad isn't getting legal help? Heh.

    Now go away.

your link is simply the search page with no specific data.

did you ever think that is your boyfriend given the same name, dob, and county of activity? Sounds quite suspicious to me.

    check out this site though:

    http://mycase.in.gov/Search.aspx?ID=...-Case%20Search

that will bring up his criminal record and not just that involving protective orders. It also gives the disposition of the case.

sure. If needed he can get a more specific record but realistically, how many people do you think are there with your bf's exact name, specific date of birth, and lived or was active in the same county in Indiana while your boyfriend was there.

Let's make it simple; the father brings in a copy of all the stuff with your boyfriends name on it. The judge looks at you and asks; has your boyfriend actually committed all of these crimes? Is there some reason I should not believe these are all your boyfriend?

then what are you going to say, knowing the lying in court is a really really bad thing to do.

    Yes, yes he can.

Let me ask you a question, Trollish one. You have said nothing about your child's welfare - only whether or not Dad can use your dear darling's history against him.

    Why is that?

I don't know for sure that they are all my bf though. So that's what I say. My son's dad says he's gonna subpoena my bf into court to verify that at least one of them is him. Will the judge do something to check if they are really my bf or not?
