I would like to know what rights i have in florida .... like my curfew time ..... im 17 and i have an alcoholic mother it has been reported to the dcf repeatedly of times .... next time i just might end up dead.... i just want to know what rights i do have..... i love my mother but its hard to forgive her.... may god help her but i cant handle her any more.... please i need some advise ..... im loosing my mind..... and yes i have a father but he speaks spanish and drinks to .....
You have the right to be home by the time your parents set as your curfew.
But doesnt the state and law enforcement have a curfew. ...and even if i didnt go without her permission as long as i keep in contact with her and tell her where i am .... i cant at all get in trouble....

She needs no proof. Her word is golden.

She doesn't need to prove anything. Your mom can punish you for coming home after 9:00 even if she told you that you could stay out until 11:00. Your mom can set any curfew she wants -- she can punish you for violating her curfew even if it's earlier than one imposed by state law or ordinance -- but she can't excuse you from your obligation to obey the law.
