Liability for Damage Accidentally Caused to Rented Property
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Delaware.

Hi, I rented a TV from arrons, and it got broken while with me by accident. I called arrons too let them know, and they picked the TV up. About 2 weeks go by and I called for the status of the TV and they told me it would cost 800 to fix and that I had too pay for it on top of the price of the TV. I told them no, and now they want to take me too court.

what do you expect? A tv does not break by itself nor does it break under normal use. It broke while under your control. Do you really believe they should simply eat the cost of the tv?

    Shoot, our 50" didn't cost $500.....

What kind of TV is $800? Does it clean the house too?

Read your contract. What does it say about you breaking the TV?
