Fifteen-Year-Old Caught Shoplifting for the Second Time
So, I'm 15 and i was just caught shoplifting cookies for 99 cents (i know it's stupid). This is my second offense and i now have to go to court for it. I was just wondering what my punishment may be for this.

Well, it would depend what state you are in and whether you're being tried as an adult. It probably isn't going to go well for you, you need to stop stealing, even the amount of times you haven't been caught in your persistant sociopathy isn't going to net you as much as it will cost you this time around.

You should receive several hours of community service in addition to your conviction.

A juvenile court will consider your home, school, community and prior police record, and will try to come up with a disposition that will help you turn your life around. The fact that the court's disposition didn't work last time will factor into what the court decides to do this time.
