Can You Move to Another State if You've Been Emancipated
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: North Carolina. I am a 17 year old living in North Carolina and have interest in getting emancipated. I meet all the requirements in order to do so. I guess my question is, if I get emancipated in North Carolina, may I move out of state?

Really?
Have you read the North Carolina statute?

Do you qualify based on the statutory requirements?

You may move out of state whenever you please but I'm guessing that your real question is whether or not you'll still be emancipated wherever you move to.
The answer to that is probably yes because every state in the US generally recognizes court orders from any other state in the US.
However, there might be exceptions and there might be filing and documentation requirements depending on the state. You'd have to check on that when you decide where you are going.
Meantime, just because a court says you're an adult doesn't obligate any business or individual to go along with it although government agencies generally will.

By the time you spend all the time, effort and money to accomplish this in 2 states, you will be 18 and it will be a moot point, even if you were successful.
