Grandmother Won't Allow Mother to See Her Kids Due to Boyfriend's Conduct
I have a question pertaining to my daughter who is now 10 years old. About six years ago i was dating a man 9 years younger than me who was often at our house. Apparently my daughter then 5 or 6 years old told my mother that she tried to tell me that he had said something to her i wasnt aware thats what she was trying to tell me at the time. Well now 6 years later i ran into my ex.it is now that my daughter told my mother and i that he stopped her outside our bathroom and said to her if you show me yours i will show you mine. However when asked if she showed hers she says no if asked if he showed his she said no he didnt touch her and she ran away. My ex had asked for a second chance to date me and was moving and asked me to go with him. Now my mother is refusing to let my children come home and is trying to keep me from moving with both my children. I would like to know how to properly handle this type of situation when there was no touching. My mother wants me to sign over custody to her.whats the best and proper solution. Oh fyi we live in ohio

Your description and question are confusing. Are you asking the best way to deal with the old situation now that you and the boyfriend are getting back together?

Why do you want to live with a man who wants to play 'show me' with your daughter? Regardless if anything else happened.

Why are your children in your mother's custody?

If this is the result of protective proceedings, there should be a court order for visitation. If this is a guardianship, you can seek enforcement of any visitation proceedings in the guardianship order or petition the court for visitation if for some reason there is no provision. If this is simply a situation where the kids went to visit grandma and she wouldn't let them come home, she has no right to do that -- you can go and get your kids.
